Azlan Nur Saidy is a research coordinator at Simon Fraser University’s Community Health Research Team (CoHeaRT), where he coordinates study activities for the 18-year long cohort-based Prospective Urban and Rural Epidemiological (PURE) Study. The PURE study is the largest global study looking at environmental, societal and biological influences on chronic health conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, stroke, and cancer. With a degree in Health Sciences from Simon Fraser University, Azlan is driven by a curiosity about the intersection between urban planning, health, and sustainability.
