Charmaine Kabatoff is the Research Ethics Board (REB) Consultant at the University of Alberta. She is also Secretary to the Board of Directors of CAREB. She has over 18 years of experience in the administration of research ethics having spent the last 15 years at the University of Alberta. This experience has given her a keen insight into the administration of the research ethics review process. Areas of special interest and expertise include Indigenous Research, the disclosure and use of Health Information and Quality Improvement/Quality Assurance projects. When she is not reviewing research projects, you can find Charmaine at the Edmonton Soccer Dome being a full time soccer mom.
