Michelle Mullen is an Associate Professor of Paediatrics in the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Medicine and consultant bioethicist at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario. Dr. Mullen received her undergraduate training in Human Physiology at the University of Toronto, her Master’s degree in Health Policy from the University of New South Wales in Sydney Australia and was the first doctoral graduate from the Joint Programme in Bioethics at the University of Toronto. She has more than 20 years of REB experience and currently serves on the CHEO REB and OCREB as an ethicist board member. She has numerous publications on bioethics issues related to women and children’s health, genetics, assisted reproduction, and public policy. She is particularly passionate about how we engage vulnerable persons and populations.
