Stanley Varnhagen has a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He is a member of the Community University Partnership for the Study of Children, Youth, and Family (CUP) and is a Faculty Member in the Faculty of Extension. His specialty is in evaluation. His professional interests include program, utilization-focused, participatory, and community-based evaluation; education; use of innovative methods to facilitate learning; and research ethics. He also is currently an Associate Chair of two University of Alberta’s Research Ethics Boards (REB 1 & 2).
