Stanley Eberechukwu Okorie
Stanley is responsible for supporting and implementing the Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR), research integrity and research quality assurance framework, including approaches and methods to proactively manage RCR, Research integrity and compliance at Trillium Health Partners through the Institute for Better Health. His priorities are focused on ensuring that appropriate and sufficient processes and tools are in place, to support and empower researchers and staff to ethically engage in research through shared accountability and application of the appropriate guidelines, regulations and polices.
Stanley has over 16 years’ successful career experience in quality assurance, project management, regulatory affairs & compliance across the public sector, academic and corporate environment particularly in the cannabis and apicultural space.
He holds a M.Sc. Degree in Biochemistry (drug metabolism and toxicology) from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He also holds a masters’ certificate in project management from the university of Saskatchewan, and a certificate in regulatory affairs and compliance from the university of California, Irvine, USA. Stanley is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Certified Manager of Quality Assurance and Organisation Excellence (CMQ/OE) from the American Society for Quality (ASQ). He is also a certified ISO 9001: 2015 lead auditor as well as a Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
Stanley is a government of Canada Security Cleared Individual, Health Canada certified Quality Assurance Person (QAP), and European Union Associate Qualified Person (QP).
