Lauren Gogo is the current Vice President of the Canadian Association of Research Administrators (CARA). CARA’s vision is to be the national, collaborative body of knowledge and expertise on research administration and management in the Canadian research landscape. As VP, Lauren is responsible primarily for coordinating the program for the national conference as well as assisting in implementing the strategic plans and policies of CARA.
Lauren is also the Director, Research Contracts & Grants at Hamilton Health Sciences (HHS). In this role Lauren oversees a team of contracts and grants professionals who are responsible for reviewing and negotiating all research related agreements, including Clinical Trial Agreements, and for facilitating the development and submission of grants proposals.
