Alison Bourgon

During her sixteen years at the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), Alison has held various leadership positions. Since 2018, she has been the Director General of Science Policy, overseeing the agency’s strategic work in areas of capacity development, knowledge mobilization, open science, research ethics, and research excellence. Before joining CIHR, she held research positions at the University of Ottawa, the Ottawa Cancer Center, and the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute.
