David Tweddell

At the Digital Research Alliance of Canada, David and his team are accountable for strategic planning and performance measurement, partnership development, and the architectural evolution of Canada’s digital research infrastructure.

David has more with 25 years of experience in multiple sectors, including engineering software, automotive product design and manufacturing, and academic research administration. Prior to joining the Digital Research Alliance of Canada, David worked in the Research Offices at the University of Waterloo and Western University in a series of progressively senior roles. He is also active in research: his current activities include the application of machine learning and language modelling techniques to proteomic, metabolomic, and clinical data.
