Erika Kleiderman
Erika Kleiderman is a Senior Advisor (Research Ethics) with the Secretariat on Responsible Conduct of Research. Her role includes interpreting the second edition of the Tri-Council Policy Statement: Ethical Conduct for Research Involving Humans (TCPS 2), developing new ethics guidance in response to emerging issues, and familiarizing the research community with the Policy through outreach and education. Prior to joining the Secretariat, Erika was an Academic Associate at the Centre of Genomics and Policy at McGill University, with a research focus on the ethical, legal, and social implications surrounding human genome editing, new assisted reproductive technologies, the regulation of stem cell research and regenerative medicine, as well as access to data and genetic information.
