Guillaume Paré
Guillaume Paré has been working in the field of ethics and integrity for nearly 20 years. Since 2019, he has acted as advisor to the Director of Research and Innovation, and head of Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) at Polytechnique Montréal. He is responsible for the content of the Éthique et intégrité en milieu professionnel (IPR 6006) course at the University of Montreal for over 10 years.
He oversaw the revision and adoption of the Entente-cadre régissant l’évaluation éthique des projets de recherche à risque minimal faisant intervenir plusieurs établissements universitaires québécois by the Bureau de coopération interuniversitaire, which was adopted by all of Quebec’s universities. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Association of Research Ethics Boards (CAREB-ACCER), and of the Association des administratrices et administrateurs de recherche universitaire du Québec (ADARUQ), where he serves as President. He is interested in research data management, research security, academic freedom, and professional integrity.
