Lawrence (Larry) White
Lawrence (Larry) is an educational developer, researcher, and Research Coordinator with the Department of Health and Social Services, Government of the Northwest Territories. Living on Chief Drygeese Territory, he brings almost 25 years of higher education experience guided by his philosophy of learning and teaching: “Helping Others Achieve Their Dreams.” He holds a Master of Distance Education (Athabasca) and is pursuing a Doctorate in Education at Unicaf University, focusing on integrating learners’ lived experiences to inform curriculum design and support learner mental health. Larry participates in several global mental health research initiatives, including the MQ Mental Health Research and Lancet Psychiatry Standing Commission on the COVID-19 Pandemic and Mental Health.
