Dr.Marie-Laurence Tremblay
Dr. Marie-Laurence Tremblay is the Research Ethics Manager at Nova Scotia (NS) Health. In her role at NS Health, Marie leads the research ethics review operation and has implemented meaningful change to the ethics review process while working cross-functionally within the Nova Scotia Health to harmonize, streamline and facilitate clinical research. She attributes her skills in process mapping and project management to the training she obtained through her PhD in Biochemistry and subsequent interdisciplinary Fellowship though the Biomedical Translational Imaging Center in Halifax in partnership with a local pharmaceutical company. Trained in policy design, she is currently leading the development and implementation of the Human Research Protection Program.
